The Frontier Drive-Inn is a tribute to the things we love: food, architecture, art, and, of course, movies. This is a place to enjoy old friends, make new ones, and reconnect with nature.

Our luxury rooms feature Pendleton blankets, one-of-a-kind rugs, Parachute mattresses and linens, and Boll & Branch towels. No two rooms are the same—everything was hand-selected by our team to provide a comfortable, inspiring place to relax at the end of a day exploring. Come stay with us!

Durable and completely prefab, Quonset huts are ubiquitous on San Luis Valley farms. At the Frontier, we’ve completely retrofitted them for a luxury experience, with custom wood-paneled interiors, private bathrooms, and in-floor heat. There’s no better place to be for sunset on the Frontier than cuddled up in a chair on your own personal deck, enjoying popcorn and the view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range or our signature movie screen.

The Frontier’s yurts are perfect for guests looking for an elevated camping experience. Each yurt is equipped with a queen bed and sitting area, with individual pellet-stoves designed to provide a cozy and low maintenance in-unit fire. Clustered in groups of five around our built-in gas firepits and spa-like bathhouses, yurts are also perfect for those traveling with a group.

In Town Apartments

The Frontier’s In Town Apartments are great for guests looking for more cooking flexibility. Every room is equipped with a cooktop, dishwasher, and full sized fridge, queen bed, a sitting area, and a desk/table. The large Suites have separate living rooms (one has a pull out couch) and home-sized kitchens. These suite rooms are perfect for those traveling with kids.

RV PARKING

Park your rig in a piece of San Luis Valley history. Our RV sites feature 48-foot stalls with full hookups—water, electric, and sewer—but that’s where the ordinary ends. Enjoy our original 40-foot drive-in screen, access to our luxurious campground bath house with showers and restrooms, gather around communal fire pits, and unprecedented access for valley wide explorations. With the Sangre de Cristo Mountains as your backdrop and some of Colorado’s darkest skies overhead, this is RV camping with a story to tell.
